What is Pradosham?

Pradosham is observed on the thirteenth lunar day of each fortnight in the Hindu calendar. It is an auspicious period centered around sunset, traditionally dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva. Devotees gather during this time to offer prayers, seek purification, and turn inward toward grace and liberation.

Om Namah Shivaya

What is Sankata Hara Chaturthi?

In the Bavishyat and Narasimha Puranas, Lord Krishna shared the significance of the Sankata Hara Chaturthi vrata and puja with Yudhishtira. Sankata Hara Chaturthi falls on the fourth day after the full moon. On this auspicious day, prayers offered with devotion are believed to help remove obstacles, miseries, and suffering.

At our temple, the Abhishekam to Lord Vighneshwara is performed, accompanied by the recitation of the Ganesha Atharva Sheersham eleven times, invoking blessings for protection, prosperity, and spiritual upliftment.
